How to be a nonchalant person?

So, are you someone that gets worried about things? Are you someone that gets stressed out about trying to control things and your emotions overwhelm you? But you want to be a person that simply doesn’t care, is nonchalant, is living life, exploring life in a way they decide what they want to do. If that’s something you’re trying to seek, this video will help you to do so.

Number one, worry less about what you can’t change because sometimes we as individuals tend to be control freaks. We try to control every single situation, every single emotion we’ve got and pretty much everything in life but the truth is you can’t always control everything. Some things are out of your control, there’s always external factors that have an impact on your decisions and your outcomes even though you don’t want it to be that way and thus if you’re constantly going to try to control everything, you’re going to overwhelm your emotions and you won’t be someone that will be able to enjoy the moment. You won’t be someone that will be nonchalant because it’s very simple. If something is out of your control, there’s no point in worrying about it since you can’t change it and if you do decide to worry about it, you’re just putting extra unnecessary pressure on yourself. Something that will only make your life harder.

Number two, don’t take yourself or anything you do too seriously. So if you want to be more nonchalant, you need to take yourself less serious. Try to aim for more pleasure rather than trying to aim for certain outcomes because this way if you’re someone that’s living more in the moment, you’re giving yourself more space to be more nonchalant and you minimize trying to control the situation, trying to be super toxic towards yourself and even your environment and thus by being someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously and is living in the moment, you can become more nonchalant.

Number three, act nonchalant. So when it comes to us as people, we actually have a lot of different versions of ourselves. Sometimes we don’t know this but let me explain this to you because most likely if you’re in education, you act in a different way when you’re talking to your teachers than your friends and the same goes that you’re acting a different way when you’re talking to someone in the supermarket than if you’re talking to your parents and in all of these different scenarios, we are still ourselves but a different version of ourselves and thus you need to understand that you as a person have a lot of different versions. You’ve got your serious version, you’ve got your intelligent version and you also got your nonchalant version and thus if you want to become someone that’s more nonchalant, try to minimize being super anxious and stressed out about certain scenarios you can’t control and try to start to live more in the moment because we all have a childish version but we also have an adult version and usually our adult version is more of a person that doesn’t get anxious that quickly, isn’t as stressed out and thus if you try to aim to become more of your adult version, you’ll be able to become more nonchalant.

Number four, don’t invest in others’ opinions. So if you’re someone that wants to become more nonchalant, others’ opinions simply don’t matter that much to you because if you’re a nonchalant person, the only opinion that matters the most to you is your own opinion and thus if you are someone that wants to become more nonchalant, try to care less about the opinion of others and start to focus more on yourself and living in the moment.

Number five, pursue your own path. So as a nonchalant person, you want to pursue your own path. You don’t let other individuals decide what’s best for you because you as an individual know that whatever you’re going to decide will be the best thing for you and thus if you are someone that wants to become more of a nonchalant person, it is very important to live a certain lifestyle that will allow you to become more nonchalant because for example if you’re living a lifestyle that’s full of stress, full of a lot of responsibilities that will completely overwhelm you, obviously it will be super super hard to become more nonchalant while if you’re someone that’s living a certain lifestyle that will allow you to travel more, allow you to relax and do things on your own term, this will allow you to become this nonchalant person that you’re trying to be.
