Welcome back to Silicon Valley. Today, we’re continuing our strain overview series with a classic of the Cubensis community, B+.

We are just starting and have tons of content planned. We’d appreciate your subscription if you’ve enjoyed us so far.

It isn’t entirely clear how, when, or where B++ originated. The story goes that a cultivator named Mr. G first cultivated the strain somewhere in Florida. The strain took off in popularity due to its high-yielding flushes and large fruits. Over time, this strain has been improved and mixed with other strains.

B++ has joined Golden Teacher and Penis Envy, and being the big three strains from which most others are derived.

For example, tidal wave Cubensis comes from crossing B++ with Penis Envy.

B++ are known for their tall, large forests of mushrooms. The tub we filmed here still has time to grow, and many will get much larger. This is a Silicon Valley B++ culture, but other cultures will have slightly different qualities.

Generally, B++ have slender, white-brown stems. Their caps are tanned brown and are not speckled like the Golden Teacher’s. Their caps are larger and flatter than Penis Envy strains, with mature mushroom margins often rolling outwards.

B++ have fairly large and prominent gills that flare outward and dump tons of dark purple spores when mature.

B++ are typically a low-potency strain, though this has been improved significantly by using selective cloning and spore printing.

This strain is commonly known for being an enjoyable and fun experience when dosed responsibly.
