A tour of a massive superyacht is not something that most people get to do on a regular basis, let alone inside the world’s largest and possibly most expensive superyacht today. Prepare yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, for the most comprehensive look ever given inside the Dilbar Yacht.

Welcome back to Refined Wealth. For today’s video, we’ll have a look at a billion-dollar yacht that will surely leave your jaws hanging. Did you know that it is the sixth-longest superyacht in the world and is estimated to cost close to a billion dollars?

And Alisher Usmanov, one of the wealthiest individuals in Russia, is the proud owner of the 15,917-ton superyacht, along with other three Dilbar yachts since 2005. Apparently, the superyacht is only a part of Usmanov’s estimated multi-million fortune, which includes interests in telecom, mining, and media, in addition to investments in iron ore and steel behemoth, metalloinvest, and consumer electronics business Xiaomi. Together with fellow billionaire Yuri Milner, Usmanov was an early investor in Facebook, and he now owns a wide variety of Western real estate, including two estates in the United Kingdom as well as mansions in Munich, Germany, Lausanne, Switzerland, Monaco, and Sardinia. Who doesn’t like yacht trophies, right?

Dating back to 2016, Usmanov bought Dilbar from Lurssen, which had developed it specifically for him over the course of 52 months, for an estimated $600 million. According to the manufacturer, it is one of the most sophisticated and demanding boats ever created, in terms of both proportions and technology. The Dilbar, whose name means Beautiful Girl in Uzbek, set sail for the first time in 2016. It was created covertly under the codename Project Omar.

What exactly does the Dilbar yacht have to offer her passengers? The yacht’s 156-meter or 512-foot length makes it appear vast, and when it was first launched, it was the biggest private vessel in the world in terms of gross tonnage. It has over 3,800 square meters of living area, which is equivalent to over 12,500 square feet, and can accommodate over 40 guests and over 80 staff members. You’d think it would be difficult to move that much weight, but not when you have a 30,000-kilowatt diesel electric power plant on your side. The Dilbar’s engine, which is reportedly the most powerful ever installed in a superyacht, enables the vessel to travel at a leisurely 16 knots and a maximum speed of 22.5 knots. That’s such a powerful engine when compared to other regular ones.

But putting aside the outward style and performance, Dilbar’s interior design is its greatest and most appealing aspect. When you see the inside of this type of superyacht, you could find yourself gasping for air. In contrast to the competition, the Dilbar superyacht features a displacement steel hull and an aluminum frame, and Alisher Usmanov’s passion for the environment is to blame for this. But that’s not all. This ship is historically significant as the first eco-friendly superyacht. Now, let’s go inside the world’s largest superyacht.

The inside of the Dilbar yacht is built of high-end materials like natural wood and leather. About all of the inside is made of dark wood and wood that has been organically pigmented. The exceptionally high cost of the wood species utilized in Dilbar makes it impossible to even provide a rough estimate of how much was spent on the interior decorations alone. The inside of the boat is adorned with several works of art by renowned painters.

You can probably see that the Dilbar yacht’s interior is dominated by furniture. Well, designers are aware that high-end products should shout their price tag. Because although the inside appears to be relatively modest, a closer inspection of the furniture reveals that each and every chair, couch, and bed was crafted by the finest European furniture builder. And even though the yacht’s interior may appear basic due to the traditional design, it is actually rather luxurious and sophisticated.

It is clear that Usmanov liked opulent, stoic homes adorned with pricey bubbles because every stateroom on the boat is decorated in the same elegant fashion. In fact, Winch Design created her interior, which was their largest job to date. They had plenty of room to spread out with a combined living space of 3,800 square meters. The Dilbar can carry up to 36 passengers in 20 staterooms, and she runs on a crew of about 100 workers.

The Dilbar’s cooks have their hands full providing the ship’s crew with the 73,000 kilograms of food they consume each year. You see, the Dilbar offers more comforts than most hotels, also fitted with the private cinema, dining room, large gym, spa, and the hair salon. The 25-meter pool, one of the largest ever installed on a yacht, is the focal point and can accommodate an incredible 180 cubic meters of water.

The boat’s interior cabling is also noteworthy, clocking in at over 1,100 kilometers, more than double that of any other notable yacht in the world. The infamous German shipyard Lursen constructed the luxury yacht Dilbar. Mr. Usmanov has a soft spot for the Dilbar, despite the fact that building on it didn’t begin until 2008. Dilbar stood out from the crowd, whether it was due to its enormous size or its opulent interior. And obviously, because of its innovative 66-meter expanded features, Dilbar was a game-changer in the super-yacht fleet. Espen Oino, a well-known Norwegian yacht designer, created the gorgeous exterior to match the owner, Alisher Usmanov’s second boat. The light ivory design has bronze highlights and a teak deck. What’s more, the two helipads on the top deck’s bow and aft are particularly noticeable. Dilbar’s custom-built Airbus H175 helicopter is held securely on these helipads. Pegasus Design created a one-of-a-kind cabin with lounge-style seating for up to seven people on the rear sofa. Thus, it seems sensible that the yacht’s body would make it both small and visually beautiful.

The Dilbar is the biggest yacht in the world, yet unlike other superyachts, its design makes it appear relatively small, which is a cool thing for the designers. As expected, it quickly rose to prominence as one of the world’s finest superyachts, setting the bar very high for its rivals. The rear deck of the boat, which is rounder in comparison to the others, is where the spectacular interior begins. Dilbar stood out from the throng as a result of this as well. In a nutshell, when it comes to luxury boats, the Dilbar yacht is often regarded as the gold standard.

Dilbar is specifically designed for millionaires from all over the world who enjoy spending time with their loved ones. However, it comes at a price because the Dilbar yacht costs around $1 billion in total. You see, the most opulent boat ever built is without a doubt this one.
