Hey, what’s up superstars? It’s your boy Beto Mee. Guys, if you don’t know, solar subclasses are back to S tier again in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. I even posted a video earlier today showing the best solar Warlock build in Season 23. I’ve put the link down below if you want to check it out after you finish watching this video. However, this time I feel I found the best solar build in Destiny 2, specifically for hunters, and it’s going to give you infinite supers. So let’s get into this build video, but before we do, I just want to say welcome to the channel, and I appreciate the support.

Now, the super ability we’ll be using in this video is Blade Barrage. This super is amazing for clearing adds and adding damage to bosses, making it the main focus of our build. Everything from abilities to fragments to aspects to exotics will be tailored to have our super almost unlimited.

For our first ability, we’re using Gambler’s Dodge. When we dodge, it helps recharge our melee ability. And for our melee, we’re going with Knife Trick because it’s easy to use. We’re also going with the Healing Grenade to help us stay alive.

The main aspect we want to use is Knock ‘Em Down, which launches more projectiles with our Blade Barrage. Radiant final blows with our equipped throwing knife fully refund melee energy.

As for our second aspect, I’m using On The Mark because it gives me an extra fragment slot.

For my first fragment, I’m going with Ember Ascending, which makes my ability recharge faster when I scorch a target. Since Knife Trick scorches targets, we’ll constantly be perking this fragment.

Next is Ember of Solace, which applies Radiant Restoration effects for an increased duration. We’re using this fragment for the restoration increase.

We also have Ember of Torches, which is great for fire teams. Power melee attacks against combatants make you and nearby allies radiant. Additionally, Ember of Imperium extends the duration of restoration and radiant effects from solar ability final blows.

Now, I mostly run solo, but if you’re in a fire team, you could switch Ember of Imperium for Ember of Benevolence. This grants increased melee, grenade, and class ability regeneration for a short duration when you apply restoration, cure, or radiance to one of your allies.

For my last fragment, I’m going with Ember of Wonder. Rapidly defeating multiple targets with solar ignitions generates an orb of power. This will help ignite the perks on my armor mods and increases my resilience by 10, which is important for survival.

Now, let’s talk about the main exotic that takes this build to a whole new level: the Shards of Galanor Hunter Exotic Gauntlet. In Season 23, Bungie buffed the first part of the Sharp Edges exotic perk. Throwing knife final blows decrease the cooldown of your super, giving you a 2.5 to 5% increase in super energy. This is amazing considering you already get up to 50% super regen generation when you hit final blows with Blade Barrage. If you hit all your targets with your super, that’s 50% regen. Then, if you hit 20 targets with your knife, that covers the remaining 50%. And remember, you’re still getting super regen just from killing enemies. With the mods I’m using, getting 6 knife kills will give you 50% super regen. So, with everything on this build, you’re pretty much getting your super back every 30 seconds.

Now, in harder content, getting your super back faster will be a little harder. So, you’ll need to choose the right artifact mods and good weapons to ensure faster super regen against endgame activities. Here are some artifact mods you want to have:

Kindling Trigger: radiant causes solar weapons to apply scorch to unscorched combatants.

Flint Striker: rapid solar weapon hits and final blows grant radiant.

Rays of Precision: radiant solar precision final blows cause combatants to ignite.

For your DPS damage, use a rocket launcher and have the Argent Ordinance artifact for increased damage and reload speed. Get the Overload Rocket Launcher mod to stun champions. Lastly, get the Revitalizing Blasts mod to weaken champions and bosses when causing damage with a solar ability.

Heart of Flame is another artifact mod. It grants nearby allies radiant and increases your super damage for them.

For weapons, I’m using the Prophet of Doom shotgun with the perk One-Two Punch. It increases melee damage for a short duration when hitting an enemy with every shotgun pellet. For boss DPS, I’m going with the amazing exotic Dragon’s Breath rocket launcher, which has become meta. It has the perk Composite Compellent, which embeds rockets in destructible targets and periodically injects incendiary fuel that inflicts scorch. The High Octane perk ignites nearby targets and partially replenishes fuel. The catalyst has the Pyromancer trait, where the weapon replenishes itself with fuel faster, and defeating targets with this weapon causes them to periodically drop fire spikes, which synergizes well with the Argent Ordinance mod. This build is perfect as it provides high-clearing potential and high-damage DPS against bosses.

As for my primary weapon, I’m using the god roll Horror Story auto rifle with Target Lock. If you prefer, the Ros-Aragos-4 god roll with Onslaught is also a great choice. Unfortunately, it’s in the same slot as my Prophet shotgun, so I can’t use it. But it would go perfectly with this build. If you need a god roll guide for this weapon in both PvP and PvE, you can find it on my channel.

Now, let’s talk about the gameplay strategy with this build. First, throw down your healing grenade for restoration. Second, start using your melee ability, as it’s virtually unlimited as long as you hit targets. This will quickly increase your super energy. And finally, make sure to keep using your super to keep perking it with the Shards of Galanor, and don’t hold it. Help your teammates out. If you miss your melee occasionally, you can use your dodge to recharge your melee ability.

The most important stats on this build are resilience, which keeps you alive, strength, which helps with melee cooldown, and recovery, which helps you recover health faster. Try to get 100 stats in each of these areas if possible. I’ll also be farming for better gear to achieve those max stats, as I am back playing Destiny 2 PvE again.

I’ve shared all the mods I’m using on this build, and I’ll provide the link in the description below.
