[00:00:00] What’s up guys, welcome back to the channel, my name is Dean aka TheBlueCrusader and welcome back to another Terraria video guide. In today’s video, I’m going to be covering how to find Plantera’s Bulb so you can summon the Plantera boss in Terraria’s hard mode.

[00:00:15] A lot of people don’t know how to summon the boss or where to find the summoning item, so let’s jump into it. So basically, Plantera’s Bulb is a purple looking flower that’s pretty easy to spot because it’s animated. It looks like a pulsating tulip flower and it spawns in the underground jungle. It’s not very common, it’s pretty rare so it will stick out a lot when you find it.

[00:00:39] But if you can’t find it and you’ve looked a lot in the jungle, then the reason is, first of all, you have to be in hard mode and they also only spawn when all three of the mechanical bosses in the game are defeated. So if you haven’t defeated the Destroyer, the Twins and Skeletron Prime, the Plantera Bulb will not spawn in your world.

[00:01:01] As you can see in the video, I have found the Plantera’s Bulb multiple times. When you receive the message in game, the jungle grows restless. This will indicate that Plantera’s Bulbs have actually started to spawn in your world. To destroy them, you first of all need a pickaxe, a drill or basically anything that goes boom or you could even use the Clentaminator tool which you use to spread and remove biomes.

[00:01:27] Destroying these Bulbs will summon the boss Plantera so you have to be super careful, especially if you’re not ready and especially if you haven’t watched this video or read some kind of guide online. The first time I found this flower, I thought, ooh, what a pretty flower and then I pretty much broke it and let’s say I wasn’t prepared when the boss spawned.

[00:01:48] The first time I found the Plantera Bulb, I got pretty wrecked and I did not have any items or any strategy in place to actually defeat the boss. They emit a small amount of pink light which makes them easier to spot and they also appear as pink on the minimap in the areas that you’ve actually explored. They stand out quite a lot so it shouldn’t be a trouble to distinguish between them and other plants in the jungle once you actually come across them.

[00:02:14] After around half a day in-game time, one new Bulb will spawn. So if you fail the boss, another will spawn so that’s not really something that you have to worry about. Eventually though, you can have anywhere from 10-15 present at the same time in your world. This means that technically, you can fight Plantera unlimited times providing that you actually find the Bulbs because even though there’s that many Bulbs, once you destroy them they’ll still stick to the same respawn rules so they’ll always come back at some point in your world.

[00:02:48] They strictly spawn on any type of a jungle grass block which is underground. The look of the Bulb looks very much like the bosses in its first phase. If you want to know the easiest way though, how you can fight and defeat Plantera once you summon it and once you find the Bulb, then I will cover the full fight and the strategy in my next video and show you the easiest way that I’ve found to defeat Plantera because just like any other boss, you have to do a pretty meticulous setup if you don’t want to fail a few times.

[00:03:20] Make sure to like the video if you enjoyed it and subscribe for more Terraria and Minecraft videos on the channel. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time.
